Why we built it
Every finance team we've worked in had a version of the same ritual: download reports from four processors, wrestle them into one spreadsheet, and spend days hunting the cents that didn't agree. The tools upstream (payments) and downstream (accounting) were excellent. The mess lived in the middle.
SyncPay is that middle, done properly: a system that treats matching as a continuous background process rather than a monthly emergency, and treats human attention as the scarce resource it is.
What we optimise for
- Trustworthy numbers — a match you can't audit is not a match
- Short queues — software should do the boring 98%
- Plain speech — pricing, security and limits stated clearly
- Small footprint — read-only access, easy export, no lock-in
